Emergency Fresh Provision Supply.
once again our team assisted in a very effective way the emergency supplies that the BBC ECHO vessel had. Our team moved to the port of Mejillones (Puerto Angamos) to be able to assist this boat that received our service very cordially. Our team as always demonstrating the commitment it acquires with our clients, arriving more than 1 hour before for customs procedures and almost 2 hours before vessel’s arrival for its mooring maneuver.
For our Clients in Germany, once again our team becomes an excellent alternative to ensure the requirements of their ships in the future & being the key that guarantees that their provisions will be on board of the ship no matter how.

Air Condition Plant Repairing.
We have carried out the maintenance and operation of all vessel’s air conditioning system, specially system No.2 which isn’t working in the normal conditions due to knowledge reason by crew. Mv. Western Moscow was kept in Tocopilla’s Port almost a month due to really bad sea conditions.
Captain and all the crew say goodbye to our team very grateful for all services done. All this coordination was carried out just one day before their departure, which will take them on a long journey to the lands of the Middle East.

Hull Inspection & Sky View.
BLUMEN NORDEN performs underwater inspection of the ship’s hull, followed by a complete aerial inspection also at the request of the owners.
These inspections are done simultaneously, with the intention of having a control of underwater fauna that could be attached to the hull of the ship, while with the aerial inspection, give a better idea to the owners what is the general condition of the ship.
Vessel get berthing immediately after this service at E-CL Terminal through coordination with their agency, all of this in order to discharge around 70.000tn. of coal in that terminal.

Cargo Holds Cleaning.
The BLUMEN NORDEN team is contacted and requested by the ship’s owners to provide support in cleaning of the cargo holds from hold No. 1 to No. 5. Once the vessel arrived at Tocopilla, the holds were rejected in the first holds inspection by terminal’s inspector.
After working for about two weeks with 20 cargo hold cleaners, the ship was able to pass the cargo hold inspection required by the terminal, before the mooring maneuver to the terminal, getting started with the loading process of nitrate to bulk.
